This tier grants access to our Patreon-only blog, where the occasional photo, text post, or other brief media update will be posted, and where patrons can share their related thoughts. This tier can also be considered a “tip jar” for patrons who wish to thank me for the hard work I put into all of my media endeavors. (NOTE: Some vlogs will go public over time, but patrons will see them early.)
Nothin' To Lose
At this tier, patrons will also unlock occasional specials, vlogs and other bonus content from our video shows. Plus, this tier gives patrons early access to the latest episodes of all of our regular episodes of our video shows days before the rest of the world! This is in addition to all lower tier rewards.
Keep Me Comin'
When you pledge $10, you will gain access to Purging Talon After Dark, a Patreon-exclusive podcast. On the show, Matt G. Paradise and his friends and associates engage in topics of interest, random observations, and generally booze-soaked diatribes. Also at this tier, patrons will gain access to MGP Audio Journal — another Patreon exclusive — in which your handsome host discusses random life moments: his production process, vinyl collecting, favorite podcasts, his friends’ projects, strange stories from the past, tech tips, you name it! This is in addition to all lower tier rewards.
About The Accusation Network
My name is Matt G. Paradise and I began my media production journey in college radio during the 1990s — management, production, music direction, and DJ to three shows. After that, I went to Internet radio for a few years and then, in 2006, I officially began podcasting. The topics of my podcast programs ran the gamut: music, politics, nostalgia culture, the fringe, free speech, and any other subject found to be provocative or just plain unpopular.
In line with my podcast experience, I'm currently a videographer and actually bought a rather expensive college degree in media back in 2002 to move things along. I did my work study in the school's video lab helping others with their projects, spent a few years working in network television, clocked in over a decade of producing public access TV shows, plus did some independent documentary work. For NLEs, I used Amiga Toaster Flyer, Media 100, Avid, and Premiere before settling into Final Cut Pro. Currently, I produce and host a number of shows on YouTube.
I love making media. I’m passionate about all aspects of the process — researching, writing, recording, shooting and editing — and consistently hold myself to a professional standard throughout. The feedback I’ve received over the years from listeners and viewers has been overwhelmingly positive. Given the upward trend, Patreon really feels like the next step forward.
That’s where you come in. The time, money, and other resources to produce content is ever demanding. I produce quite a bit, but would like to produce even more. So, with growth comes finance. By becoming a patron, you can help me to build on the success I’ve gratefully gained through the years. That means more shows, more equipment, more ideas, more entertainment and, well, just MORE!
Please take a moment to go over the reward tiers and the current goal to get a better idea of how you can contribute. And, of course, thank you for your support and consideration. Without you, I’m merely talking to myself over a microphone. And that’s rather sad.
