I love art! It's my passion, it's been my job for quite awhile, but I need your help to boost what I can do even further. As of now I am an expert airbrush artist, I freelance and I am hired by event companies and other companies to provide airbrushing at events or to create all kinds of art that my clients need, and that is great!

HOWEVER....I have now discovered the world of digital art--which is basically creating artwork via software like Photoshop or Corel and I fell in LOVE WITH IT!!

See, what a lot of people don't understand, is that when you do commercial art long enough you run the risk of losing some of the passion you once had for your art, in other words, you can fall into a rut that dulls the edges of what you do, because it is so repetitive and the jobs that come in become very similar...that is death for the soul of the artist!!

But when I sat down to try to my hand at digital...BAM! My passion exploded back! Why? Because I felt challenged again, when I create a piece of digital I feel like I'm always in the process of discovery, and I get to experiment and play and create like I used to when I was just a kid, doing art for the sake of JUST DOING ART!

You can lose site of that when creating art becomes a 'just a job' and I want to avoid that happening. So I thought to myself, what would I like to do with my new found digital art skills now that I'm starting to get good? Well, I'll tell ya':  

My dream would be to work for a big name gaming company or movie production company, maybe I will one day get the opportunity to create concepts for next big comic book or fantasy movie that comes out, or perhaps I'd get to work on a cool video game!

I would love to put out sketchbooks and how to books showcasing step by step guides that would teach others how to draw and paint, I can imagine creating a company art studio where clients like: movie studios/ad agencies/gaming companies can come to have their projects done! Moreover, I can imagine this place also being a school where I could hire a core group of really talented artists to help me teach others how to get work doing the art they love!!   

I can imagine creating an entire comic book (or several books) if I were to get enough support! I would love to have my most loyal supporters and fans be able to be the 'director' of their own fantasy art or comic books or ideas or whatever, and have me be the one who executes their vision...

I can envision these kinds of things clearly...but alas, I cannot do it alone. It just isn't possible. Even though I already work as a pro, it will take more than I can provide by myself to realize my vision:

                                                           SO HOW DOES IT WORK?

Well, this is where Patreon is very cool in that there is no wrong answer here. Unlike a page like Kickstarter, where you make a one time only donation, Patreon works by allowing you to 'subscribe' to me like an actual 'patron' of the arts! You get to donate to me like you would to a magazine subscription.

And the best part is: you can set up your donation however you want!! And the amount you contribute can be as little as a 1 dollar! (And I would super appreciate even that amount).

Do I have to pay in US Dollars? NO - Pay in any currency! As this is US based website, everything is written in Dollars, but you can use any currency and it will be automatically converted.
I don't have much money, can I still become a Patron? Yes, please only sign up to donate what you can easily afford. Even $1 per piece of art or video I upload will make a huge difference and would be greatly appreciated. :)
Can I stop donating in the future if I can't afford it? Yes of course! If you can't afford to donate in the future, or you need to donate less that's absolutely fine. You can just log in to change or cancel the account whenever you want

The video above explains it too. But the main thing is, you will be a part of helping me to continue to do what I love to do, and perhaps even make a few dreams that at times I think are unattainable become a reality.
