Does going to see the doctor frustrate you?
Do you feel like they don't have time to listen to you or don't take your concerns seriously?
These concerns are precisely why I've decided to open an independent general medical practice, one that works for YOU.
I am an osteopathic general practice physician committed to providing excellent care. I left mainstream medicine to start my own practice, a practice dedicated to YOU, not insurance companies or hospital bottom lines. Fees for services are upfront and negotiable - if you have lower income and would like to supplement the fee with barter of other goods and services. No hidden costs. I can provide a receipt for you to mail to insurance to claim reimbursement, but I am not contracted with any insurance providers. I provide online, in-person (seattle only), and home visits (seattle only). Your information is always confidential and private, except under mandatory reporting laws if you report to me that you are an imminent danger to yourself or others.
Services offered:
Osteopathic Manipulation - Manual body treatment that helps the body heal itself through medically informed techniques similar to gentle massage and chiropractic. This can be profoundly therapeutic and can treat a variety of ailments, including: pain, muscle spasms, "sciatic" type pain, acute injury, chronic pain, anxiety, depression, nasal congestion, ear infections, pneumonia, constipation, headaches, etc. I've had a patient walk in needing to use a cane for month long leg pain, and leave without it! Everyone responds differently, but sometimes this treatment can completely end chronic pain or muscle spasm from a recent injury. I can also teach you techniques to do at home by yourself or with a friend/family member. I am deeply passionate about using these techniques to help you find better health and wellness.
General medical - I can diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions using history and physical exam, blood pressure and heart rate monitoring, prescribe medications (no narcotics). I am unable to do procedures (sutures, casting, wound management, etc) and invasive exams (such as pelvic and rectal exams) at this time.
Patient advocate - I know first hand how hard it can be to communicate with doctors and specialists about your concerns. If you struggle with this, I can help you organize your thoughts in a strategy session and communicate with your other doctors on your behalf as an advocate.
Autism advocate - I am autistic and have struggled as a patient to communicate with my doctors in the past. I have learned how to communicate with doctors and will help you get the care you need from the system if you can't get what you need from me.
Ehlers Danlos Syndrome evaluation and advocate- I also have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, which is a rare connective tissue disorder that can sometimes have life threatening complications, and know how difficult it is to find doctors who are aware of this syndrome. If you have chronic pain, fatigue, joint hypermobility/extreme flexibility, or any other vague symptoms that you think may be related to Ehlers Danlos, I can evaluate you for diagnosis and help you find the right resources.
Basic Fees
In-person (seattle only) or online visits:
addressing 1 problem - $100
addressing 2 problems - $150
addressing 3 problems - $200
additional problems after 3 - +$50 each
Home visit (seattle only) - Add $100 to regular fee
I accept cash, paypal, square cash (cash app), venmo
I want this practice to be for the community. Send me your feedback! If there are any other additional services you are interested in that aren't listed here, send me an email and I would be happy to add that service if I can.
