Hi, I'm a college student in the western United States and creator of The Blitz Practitioner. I write, draw, and color the comic all myself, and I'm a bit better at the writing than I am at the art bits, but I'm improving as I go, so you'll get to see this webcomic's art improve with time. The Blitz Practitioner is my first webcomic, so I'm learning as I go, so please be patient with me. The Blitz Practitioner updates every Thursday, and it's currently about a 12 year old in the military, but we don't cover every moment of his life, so he won't be twelve until the end of the comic. I've really enjoyed working on this comic, and I hope you enjoy and support me. Every little bit helps, and I'd love to be able to financially support this comic independently of anything or anyone else.
Tiers
Student
$1 or more per month
Students are only just learning how to use their quicksilver. They can't do all that much, but with hard work and determination, even the lowliest student can become a Dragon.
Researcher
$5 or more per month
Researchers are mostly focused on how quicksilver works, rather than its actual practical use. Some of them are quite adept at quicksilver use, but most are barely capable of any sort of practicality. It's said that researchers know so much about quicksilver that they know nothing of life. Still, some researchers look beyond their books to the real world, and with enough practical stars, some can even claim to be practitioners.
Practitioners
$10 or more per month
Practitioners are highly practical. They generally start as students, though some are naturally gifted enough to skip that step. Any practitioner could write a research paper. It might not be a good one, but they could do it. They can challenge each other to official duels for a ranking, though there's also a ranking based on who they've killed if they serve in the military. Practitioners have a license of some sort, specifying when and where they can use their quicksilver. For most mere practitioners, it's limited to their job site.
Priest(ess)
$15 or more per month
Priest(esse)s serve a god or goddess. While most people worship a specific one, priests do the god's or goddess's bidding, whatever that may be. They are all skilled practitioners, usually in the type of quicksilver gifted to them by their god or goddess. It is unwise for anyone to confront a priest(ess) in or on the domain of the god or goddess they serve. They are more dangerous than an average practitioner even without direct aid, as their god or goddess will reveal some secrets of quicksilver to them.
Practitioner of the Royal Guard
$20 or more per month only 5 left
The test to get into the Royal Guard is difficult enough, but to be recognized for your skills enough to be one of their practitioners, you'd have to be one in one hundred thousand. Literally. That's the approximate ratio between regular Royal Guardsmen and Practitioners of the Royal Guard. You have to be strong, smart, brave, fast, and maybe a little bit stupid to earn this title. Those that do are some of the best practitioners Trinidon has to offer.
Dragon
$50 or more per month only 12 left
There are only twelve Dragons for each country. They are the best, brightest, strongest, fastest, most intelligent practitioners that country has to offer (almost). They go through years of training, usually under a Dragon, to even begin to be prepared to receive the title. They are generally impossible to depose for any but those trained by their number, and they are usually only replaced upon death.
High Dragon
$100 or more per month only 12 left
There are only twelve High Dragons in the Great Dragon Alliance. They are the most powerful practitioners of all, capable of performing feats few believe possible. No High Dragon has to date been killed in open combat. Assassinated, sure, but never killed in a one on one or one on an army fight. High Dragons usually only participate in combat if they feel they must, though some exceptions have been made. It is through them that the peace between the nations of the GDA is held.
