Catalysis (/kəˈtælᵻsᵻs/): the increase in the rate of a chemical reaction due to the participation of an additional substance called a catalyst (/ˈkætəlᵻst/). With a catalyst, reactions occur faster and require less activation energy.

The Bridge: an overpass, the command deck of a Starship, and the connection between 2 points

A Collective: a group of entities which work together to achieve a common objective.

As Human Beings, we're Visionaries & Creators.  We generate and expend an enormous amount of energy each day, in almost 8 billion ways.

Life grows most vibrant when nurtured, in an ideally balanced environment.  Most of us don't know what such a thing looks like thanks to factors like war, and familial, cultural or financial instability.  Caring for ourselves isn't something that comes easily to many of us and it's simple to feel like you have to figure it out on your own.   All too often we have learned to hibernate and isolate ourselves during the most difficult parts of the Creative Process.  We often feel shame about the shadows we live with - enduring alone rather than turning to those who understand us the most intimately - we choose not to "burden" our loved ones.  This type of thinking is the undoing of Community.  The solution lies in new ideas, beginning with the choice to show up and communicate, along with an agreement that we will each do the work of creating a collaborative environment supportive of individual and collective agency.

Do you want to spend dedicated time with people who are doing the difficult work of creating conscious change?  Artistic expression, Craftsmanship, Pride in a job well done - these are principles that can be applied to our relationships with one another.

Hi, I'm Liza.

These incredible photo illustrations are a few of myriad collaborations between myself and Photoshop Master Robert Cornelius. The image above is from his Dust to Dust series. The image below is one of our more popular collaborations - an epic Tank Girl cosplay of yours truly.

Do you feel Catalyzed? You're welcome.

I've started a meetup called CreateAnon; a virtual/physical support group for Human Beings. We are Artists, Scientists, Healers, Engineers, Explorers, Philosophers, Educators. We are every possible expression of age, ability, gender, and skin-tone, existing in a multitude of diverse geographic locales. Our goal is to share individual & collective resources, and so create better Life.

Please join our virtual community on facebook by clicking through.

Facilitating these groups is a soul-feeding activity for me, but not (as yet) belly-filling.  I have recently taken an exciting new job which will provide financial stability as I continue to support The Work in my corner of this world.  As my career moves forward, I hope to be afforded the privilege of investing more time in producing & design, collaborative community-building, writing & illustration.  With your support, we can achieve these goals together.

Since April of 2016, I've been working with an artistic group of like-minded folks to create The Catalysis Bridge Collective, LLC. Using this vehicle, we have been doing the work of writing & enacting a business plan that will provide both a brick and mortar space for our Collective, as well as an open-source, modifiable business plan for others who want to set up locally-resourced maker-spaces and performance centers.

In my corner, in addition to collaborations and IATSE projects, I am working on a graphic novel further exploring concepts and principles of sustainability through near-future science fiction.  The more free time I have to devote, the more seamlessly I can continue this work.  Throughout each month I will share stories, poems, photos and illustrations with you, my support network here on Patreon.  Some of these will be public and some will be exclusively for financial Patrons.  My end goal for the book is publication & distribution - I'll be defining this more as I progress, hopefully with your interest and involvement.  If you'd like regular updates, please consider contributing $5.00+ a month.  I want to devote my time and energy to creating things that benefit all of us.  I pledge to you that I will do the work required.

In addition to these projects, there are whispers of screen & stage plays in the works within the Collective.  If you're lucky, maybe you'll catch us discussing those processes in our upcoming podcasts!

Any and all support offered through Patreon will go directly to building comprehensive & holistic growth in each of the overlapping worlds we inhabit.  These are our intersections.  We'll invest.

Thank you for your time & consideration in all you do to support The Work.

Goals
$0 of $250 per month
Help us get a podcast started!  We at the Catalysis Bridge Collective - Steve & Rebecca Gudelunas, Dominique Holland and myself have some fascinating and comedic discourses on the plight, privilege & responsibility of the Artist.  When we reach this goal, we will release the first monthly episode!
