When I was 18 I moved all on my own from my home in Sweden to London to create the life I wanted to live and find the person I wanted to be. Since then I've started my own record label "Broken Glass Records", produced, recorded and released 5 EPs and 2 full-length albums, published 2 books, and travelled all over Europe to spread my music.
After a year in London I packed a bag, took my guitar and spent a year on the road. Homeless but at home because I had no destination and I just wanted to be free. I crashed on couches and went everywhere and nowhere. Spent nights on the concrete, had beautiful conversations with strangers and walked foreign streets every day. I learned how to build my home in my music and my art. When I sing or write, I'm not scared anymore. .. . A story comes alive when it's being told, and I'm ready to share mine. But I need your help.
This is about the belief in art and about wanting to create the world in my own way. I want to prove to you that you can become whoever you want to be, if you just want it bad enough. I'd like to show you that you can turn all those things you hate about yourself, into art. I’d like to turn everything around me into something beautiful - and that’s what this journey is about. I'm mostly insecure, but I believe that if you want something bad enough, you can always find a way to get it. I love challenges because I'm here to prove myself and other people wrong. I still don't know where I'm going, but I'm on my way, and I'm giving my life to this journey. I'm not sure where I'm going, but I'm on way.

"Time Is Nothing": my private Spotify Playlist

It's a rainy day in Hamburg and I've spent it in bed with coffee, candles, blankets and my guitar. Some of you asked me to share my playlist "Time Is Nothing", that I told you about in the last post I made, and of course beautiful things are meant to be shared :) This is a playlist with songs that for me are simply timeless, ethereal and just pure, good songwriting. For me, a good song can survive without any production, stripped to only the melody and the lyrics. When you can hear a song with no layers and huge produced arrangements, and still get touched by it, that's when I know it's a good song to its core. And that is the kind of music I aspire to create. And by being inspired by these great songwriters I hope I will one day. 

I hope you will find both some old and new tunes to accompany another coffee, and please share in the comments your own Spotify playlist, favorite "timeless" song or just what you're listening to right now! I'm always looking for new music to be inspired by :)

For my second Patreon funded video I decided to go back to my roots, and show you a song that I listened to on repeat in my teenage years, while living in Sweden. The song is by a Swedish alternative band called Broder Daniel. I do believe that all the books we read, the songs we listen to, the films we watch and the cities we live in, all shape us into the people we become, and I do believe that all those songs I listened to all those endless nights when I was younger slowly shaped me as a songwriter, singer and person.

It's a still Sunday morning in Berlin and I'm writing stories on my guitar. I just finished this new little song, and thought I wanted to share the lyrics with you, now that I have this great platform to do it on!
