I was listening to "The Creative Penn Podcast" by Joanna Penn and she said that one of the ways she identified herself was as a podcaster.

I've been working at building my writing and self publishing career over the past few years and one thing I tried was interviewing Young Adult authors and reviewing their books on a podcast--The YA Books Podcast. My last podcast was Episode 55, about six months ago. I found my writing was getting bogged down and I wasn't getting any feedback from listeners of the podcast, so I quit.

After listening to Joanna to get motivated to do more writing and publishing, I was reminded at how much I love being a podcaster. So, I'm jumping back on the podcasting bandwagon and plan to put out episodes for no other reason than I like to.

(I love writing, too. I plan to keep doing that and podcasting some of my serialized fiction, but that's a subject for another website.)
