Hello, my name is Terza Ekholm.  I am a textile artist. I do three things with textiles: 1. I create abstract fabric paintings using fibers, threads and a textile hardener, 2. I create fabric sculptures, 3. I take pictures of my alcohol ink art and have clothing and accessories manufactured on demand using those pictures. (Show and tell)
I also create videos, 1 or more per week, to share my creative process for both non-artists and experienced artists alike. Some of these videos focus on my paintings and sculptures, while others are specifically designed to show you how to put your own designs on the manufactured-on-demand sites such as Redbubble.com and Printify.com, just to name a couple.
I recently learned about Patreon being a great platform for artists to be supported by their fans. Centuries ago, artists had patrons that paid for them to create their works, so that they could concentrate solely on creating and still pay for their household necessities. Patreon is very similar but even easier. Patreon is a great way for you to enjoy my creations on a monthly basis. You sign up for the level of monthly subscription that you like, from $5/month for a video a week, all the way up to $50/month that would include installments toward your favorite work of art or uniquely customized article of clothing. I will offer several levels of subscription, each with different benefits such as a journal, scarf or tote bag.
There are couple of reasons that I have created this membership page: 1. I love to create! 2. There is a lot to do behind the scenes to transform these creations into the beautiful and unique items of clothing and accessories. Additionally, there are marketing campaigns to create and run, models to hire, classes to arrange, product packages to put together, creating quality photos of my work and the videos for you! I am a one-woman studio with various part-time assistants that I would love to pay full time. In addition, much of my equipment and supplies need to be upgraded and refreshed. Your subscriptions will make all of this possible.
Thank you for being my fan and a patron of the arts!  —Terza Ekholm, Artist & CEO of The Terza Factor
