Thank you for visiting the Patreon page for The Vita Lounge Magazine! If you love your Vita and you are looking to get more from it, you are in the right place!

Who are we?
We are The Vita Lounge, an independent PlayStation Vita enthusiast fan site and we have existed since July 2012. In the four years since we were founded we have grown from a single person blog to a site which received almost 1.2 million visits in 2015, despite the niche nature of the platform.

Many PSVita owners know that the system has not performed as it could have, but this has not deterred a passionate and dedicated following from loving the system. It is this audience that we want to reach.

We have a website with over 6500 news posts and more than 400 Vita game reviews. We have a community forum with over 1200 members. We have the longest running Vita-only podcast, with over 120 episodes. We also now produce a digital magazine, and have released 16 issues so far.

We do all of this for the love for the system, volunteering our time for free.

What do we want to do?
Whilst we have many avenues to deliver the Vita content that otherwise struggles to reach gamers via mainstream channels, we are really passionate about this magazine venture. Whether it's via a free digital magazine or an actual physical copy, we want to ensure that Vita gamers have all of the latest news, reviews, interviews and features in one place, allowing them to make informed purchase decisions, look ahead to what is coming and stay in the know.

We want to take the passion that the dedicated Vita community has and turn that into something positive. We want to reach Vita developers and give them that audience, that confidence and showcase their games. We want to interview them and have them tell you all about those games and bring the Vita audience together like never before. We want to enhance all avenues of communication to make it more convenient for you, the Vita gamer, to get the information that you want.

Why a Magazine?
Websites will always win with lead times over magazines. They can update and react to current events and publish reviews far closer to release dates than magazines can. So the obvious question is why have we made one? We think that there is something cool about magazines. Having all that content in one place, being able to read at your convenience, and with a print edition, actually having something physical to hold. It also makes sense to us. The Vita is a niche system. What better than a niche format to promote it?

What can you do to help?
We make this for you, and the best thing that you can do it to read it! If you wanted to share it with other like-minded gamers and your friends that will also be appreciated! We want to make a difference for the Vita, however big or small, and we really need your help to do so.

Of course, if you really believe in what we are doing then we could greatly use some financial help, if you have the means to do so. Whether $2.50 for early access and EXCLUSIVE access to a PDF copy or whether you want to go for a print copy - posted worldwide - any and all help will really make this happen.

When will issues be released?
We are currently publishing standard issues monthly and our release cycle is that issues are released on the second Monday of each month digitally for everyone, although Patrons get EXCLUSIVE access from the first Monday, in the form of a PDF.

Print issues are ordered following receipt of all pledges, which is usually around the 5th of each month. We aim to send these out around the time of general release but as the magazines originate in the UK international orders may be subject to a little longer.

We have plans to release special editions of the magazine too, and more information on these will follow in due course.

Where can I find the complete collection?
We host our published images on a website called Calameo, which offers a free e-reader based copy of each magazine. Click THIS LINK to find the whole collection.
