Milestone Goals
1 Milestone Goals
reached
improve the home studio
we will be able to continually improve the home studio and get new microphones and sampler packages and begin to hire studio musicians
Music Videos!
Music videos take a lot of time and effort, so the release after we hit $300 will be the animated music video for "wanderer above the sea of fog"
special sale on printed albums!
The Debut album is planned to be out this spring (with any luck) and at this goal i will do a special printing and they will be available to all patrons for $5 a piece ($12 regular price, or whatever iTunes charges)
Touring
At this level i'll be able to afford to tour regionally and will begin to prepare for the potential of a national tour. (a traveling band is expensive)
beyond the home studio
at this level i'll be able to go well beyond a "home" studio and after having moved into a more permanent space. The ultimate goal here is to create a professional level space to do recording in, and i'll be able to open up an actual record company and begin to help others
About
we are an experimental classical rock band from Chicago. founded in 2011 by sebby, our mastermind who is a theatre sound designer, and soon joined by others our goal is to create good music that both tells a story and makes you think about our place in the world and what emotions we experience during the pieces and songs
Location
Chicago, IL, USA

The Dreamers is a progressive rock/experimental classical band out of Chicago, IL. Our goal is to post music that tells a story either with words or only music and to break down barriers with revolutionary sounds and recording techniques. (My favorite is the vibe piano (rotary speaker on a Steinway)).
unfortuantely, making music takes money. While we do make some money off of YouTube, it is not enough to stem the tide of new technology and updates needed to run a full studio. $1 per composition gets you a free mp3,wav or aiff file of the piece. This goes a long way towards helping us produce new cool music.
Thank you in advance wonderful friends
