Hi! My name is Thomas R Terbanc. You can call me Tom if you'd like, or some know me better by my artist pseudonym, "T-Squared". It's a stupid nickname my 8th grade science teacher started addressing me by, and I guess it's just stuck after all these years. I'm happily married, and proud Dad of 2 pretty awesome boys.

I started painting 1/6 scale stuff around the end of 2013. I got laid off from the machine shop I worked at, and so I got back in school, and continued painting as a little side hobby. It wasn't long before people started taking notice, and then contacting me for commission work. I continued to get better, and I continued to get busier and busier, and I've even done company work on several occasions that's been publically displayed at SDCC. I take massive pride in what I do, and it's done a lot for me in terms of discipline and work ethic. When I paint something for someone, if I wouldn't be happy to display it on my own shelves, then it's not good enough to leave my house and be on someone else's. I have an almost unquenchable need and desire to constantly improve - whether it be something big, or even small tweaks where maybe only I would notice. I firmly believe it starts with the right attitude, and it goes a long way in the final results.

I started this Patreon for several reasons, one of which because it just seemed overdue. I've been painting this stuff for years now, and I get contacted enough about painting tips. I'm never stingy about sharing, and I'm happy to help others out, especially when I see that advice being used and I see results in others work. To me that is very satisfying. It's my aim to begin documenting my work in order to help others, and as another medium through which my work can be shared.
