Thank you for visiting the Trendfem Patreon! For the last five years, I've been writing and reviewing a variety of shows I've seen in the opera house, theatre auditorium and cinema, and my passion for culture never ceases. The idea behind my blog came about through a past experience. Before I finished my postgraduate studies in Journalism, I often felt that it was difficult to read about classical music concerts and opera shows from newspaper critics. I knew that it was possible to write about these performances without using academic terminology and expert knowledge, so I decided to write my thoughts on shows I had seen for myself. To my surprise, many people enjoyed what I had written and began to comment on how useful my reviews were to them, so much so that they got themselves tickets to see the shows I was ranting and raving about.

I'd like to continue making opera, classical music and theatre accessible to all audiences - to those outside of the industry and entirely new to the genre - yet to do that I need to invest more time and  money into the reviews I create. This is where you can come in and help me. I don't ask for much, but if you can support me I will promise to write more reviews and discuss interesting topics on the world of theatre, opera and dance in the Capital. With your support I can take the time out to write quality reviews, comment pieces and provide some advice on getting tickets quickly and for affordable prices. I'll even try to interview singers, performers and directors of the shows I review and give you some insider scoop too! Many thanks in advance. I am grateful for your support.
