About Reflections of Turtle Island: Hosts of the Powwow on Manatawny Creek

Reflections of Turtle Island (ROTI, pronounced" Row-Tea") is a 501(c)(3) dedicated to:
- Humanitarian Relief to Native and Indigenous communities
- Protecting and maintaining the Native American Burial Ground in Pottstown, PA.
- Hosting a semi-monthly educational series
- Hosting the annual Powwow on Manatawny Creek

Though we are based in Pottstown, PA. We operate nationally in the following ways:

Humanitarian Relief to Native and Indigenous communities:
- Building ramps for the elderly, connecting with sustainability organizations to bring lost techniques back to Native communities, food, and clothing drives.
Protecting and maintaining the Native American Burial Ground in Pottstown, PA.:
- Caring for the burial ground, and inviting the community to learn more about the traditional stewards of the land we now reside on.
Hosting a semi-monthly educational series
- Topics span the traditions and challenges of Native Americans today.
Hosting the annual Powwow on Manatawny Creek
- This annual celebration is the weekend before Mother's day. Volunteer opportunities are available:

To achieve our mission, we engage in year long fundraising and need as many patrons, sponsors, and supporters as possible.

Goals

ROTI has an annual budget requiring (1500/Month or 18k/year) to:
- Keep the PowWow Sustainable,
- The care and maintenance of the Native American Burial Ground located at the intersection of Franklin and Industrial Highway in Pottstown, PA
- Humanitarian Relief to Native American Communities.
