At the UnPresidented podcast, we give you a progressive insider's look at the week's political news, and the action steps you need to get involved and resist. UnPresidented is hosted by two longtime progressive writers and activists: gun control expert and Daily Beast contributor <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cliff_Schecter">Cliff Schecter</a>; and former Economist writer, UN official, Hill staffer and LGBT advocate <a href="https://www.linkedin.com/in/aravosis/">John Aravosis</a>.  
 
Cliff and John are proud progressives who share the honor of being insulted by Rush Limbaugh. We are here to fight the right, but we do not shy away from taking Democrats and others on the left (be they socialists or &quot;the establishment&quot;) to task when needed -- sometimes everyone needs a kick in the ass. But we always believe that whatever our differences, the way to win on the issues we care about, from immigration to civil rights, to health care and climate and economic inequality and more, is for all of us to come together and resist Donald Trump and his far-right enablers in Congress. 
 
We typically publish two episodes per week, often with special guests. Because we don't want to be beholden to advertisers, or censor ourselves to retain their support, we do not accept advertising, and instead rely solely on the support of our fellow progressives.
