In 2007 I was fired from my Georgia state government job when my boss, Sewell Brumby, learned I was transgender and transitioning. This was wrong, and discriminatory, so I filed a federal lawsuit. In December 2011 I won, and set a major civil rights precedent!
I'm now writing a book about my life, and about those incredible four years. Part adventure story, part courtroom drama, part screwball comedy, this book will have it all.
And you can read it as it happens! Excerpts I post here will give the broad strokes of my experiences, but the fine details will only be found in the completed book. The more support I get from people like you, the sooner it will be done.
All I'm asking is a dollar per post. At my current pace, that will be $5 a month at most (but you can cap it if you think I'll be more prolific). And anyone who contributes anything at all, even if it's only once, will get an ebook copy of the finished book! Such a deal!
