SO MUCH MORE COMING SOON!

    VerseFirst Poetry Podcast

Verse First Poetry podcast is a monthly Podcast hosted by writer and poet Think/Write/Fly (Adrian B. Earle). Produced and edited by a floating roster of creatives that currently includes Kallen Daynes and Gavin Randhawa, exploring the themes that resonate in contemporary poetry.

                      What is VerseFirst?
The Podcast is a series of 30 to 45 min Audio essays featuring interviews with your next favourite poet on the creation of their work and the craft of verse.
coming up in the roster we have Round table discussions with poets, coverage of poetry events in the UK that are breaking the mold and breathing new life into a scene. as well as ongoing series on the poetry of protest, confessional verse, and the poetry of Place!
To the VerseFirst team, Poetry is more than just words that rhyme, but a window to an exploration of how we define ourselves the world around us and how we use language. That is why We have dedicated our first six episodes to topics as diverse as political poetry, the use of the confessional I and the Idea of Psychogeography the concept of mapping an environment artistically to discover it anew.
These musings are accompanied by unique studio readings of some of the most fantastic UK poets with in-depth discussions on the thought processes and physical choices made in their work
We, at VerseFirst, have a passion for the written and spoken word, and each month we aim to explore an aspect of the form we love in a luscious lunch length listen.

                          When do we post?
We always Aim to post between the 13th and 15th of Each month, Hosting the podcast on SoundCloud and Syndicating across as many different platforms as we can.

We want to keep the episodes as inclusive as possible so we will endeavour never to paywall the series. Your Support on Patreon will help us keep making high quality, well crafted and diverse content. so instead of closing off recordings, we prefer to offer Perks for Patreon Subscribers who are willing to Subscribe to us Past our entry Tier.
