The Girl ~
Im Vivid Vivka (hi!). Ive been a model and general geeky artsy weirdo in the internet-eye for almost a decade. Ive managed to run across the screen on a couple TV shows, dance around in a few music videos, and grace the pages and covers of magazines. I model on websites like SuicideGirls and CosplayDeviants, among others. Awhile ago (hard to place exactly when as Ive been dabbling in it for so long), I begin my adventures in cosplay. Ive thrown myself into it with a full heart, and even started touring conventions as a featured cosplay guest (which has been *amazing*). I have a tiny Direwolf-Chihuahua hybrid named Tesla. My favorite ice cream is Mint Chip and I love puzzles. Stuff. Things. Words.
The Why ~
I don't know when I am the happiest … sitting in my studio with a messy bun and covered in glue and paint, or dolled up in an elaborate costume and fantasy makeup, making magic with a talented photographer. I *live* to craft something every single day... be it a tangible trinket, a costume piece, or arty photograph ... and its how Ive been functioning for forever now.
But things can only go on as the starving-artist type for so long. I work all day, every day, doing whatever I can to get by, survive, and make my ends meet. I have a hair business that Ive run since 2001, I resell clothing online, I paint, I make prints of my photoshoots… and at the end of it all, Im left exhausted and spread too thin. As I function now, I don't have the time and financial stability to create the art, photos, and costumes in the way I *know* I can.
I have always wondered what it would be like… what I could accomplish… if I had the time and funds to focus completely on creating. Ive worked incredibly hard my entire life, and Ive always had to live as frugal and humble as possible… but its increasingly difficult to continue my flair for the artistic ways, with all the stress on me. Im tired of having to put my art and creativity to a secondary position.
With this new platform (and hopefully with your help), I can continue to be the weird little sprite-child I am. I hope to stop doing these jobs that I hate, resent, and that take up all of my time... and instead do what I love, and share it with you.
Think of me as a living, breathing, crafting art project. Please help me grow and show you what I am capable of.
The What ~
What do I hope to accomplish? Just saying "yo, I gonna make art" isn't very specific, I know. But I am no one-trick-pony, and love to creatively stir many pots.
Some of my goals…
*I want to learn how to make youtube videos. Why? So I can share my costuming work-in-progress, and do tutorials! I get so many requests for such (especially weird makeup), and I can also show you the conventions and adventure I have! But I don't have the TIME to learn how to edit video… until now! (I hope?)
*I want to be able to USE my bachelors in art, and… ya know, paint. I miss painting so much, and Ive barely been able to do it since I graduated years ago due to time constraints. I constantly think of new concepts and I am limitlessly inspired. I want to make it real.
*I want to bring my costuming to a whole new level. Bigger armor. Bigger props. Bigger hair. Cosplay is my favorite form of modeling and creating… its all an elaborate puzzle. Help me and join me as we both adventure into new levels and even more fantastic costumes!
*I want to be able to not only have one new epic costume finished every month (or heck, even more), but to also be able to photograph that costume, and others. I have so many articles and ideas… its all the funds and time that I lack.
*I want to be able to go to even more conventions, and meet more people. I want to meet YOU. I want to hug you and thank you for believing in me, and geek out together.
*I want to be able to learn new kickass skills. I want to get back in to aerial, learn archery, spit more fire. Imagine the rad performances I could do, mixing photography costuming and these skills….O.O
*I want to be able to afford the help I need, to create even more. Assistant, website and graphic work, and makeup artists when needed! I will still handle all puppy cuddles, personally.
*I want to be happy. <3
The Rewards ~
This Patreon will probably be changing around a bit, as I get the hang of things. More reward tiers, more bonuses, and more love!

My Patreon feed is split up into two sections... The $5+ feed and the $30+ feed.
-The $5 feed has behind-the-scene snaps from my shoots, work-in-progress shots from my costumes, selfies and sometimes a "from the vault" flashback. Lots of text, and me generally chatting it up about what Im doing. An all-around good time. Good family fun. A+. Would blog again.
-The $30 feed is all this, and more! It will include even *more* updates, and some of these photos will be more (*gasp*) adult oriented. Consider this feed all a teaser though... the real goodies come straight to you at the reward hand out! Every month you will receive a "from the vault" flashback set, as well as a brand new image set. Again, this will probably have some T&A, because I like that kinda stuff.
