New video editing/production equipment
I currently have one laptop that I use for everything, but it takes ages to render each video prior to uploading which ties the laptop up for hours. I'd really like to get a faster dedicated video production workstation with a larger screen, which will take the pain out of producing videos.
Give cash back to community education
At this point I'll start giving some cash back to local community projects, starting with my local Makerspace in Southampton UK, which is a non-profit organisation. It's likely that by this point I'll be using those facilities a lot for larger projects, so I'll give 10% of my Patreon funding to the Makerspace where it'll be used to provide educational workshops, tools, materials and resources, for use by the local community.
Create jobs
This stage is not entirely defined, but if I can get this much funding I would turn XRobots into a production company that employs people. This would allow for more content production along the lines of educational tutorials & projects, and of course the content would be free to view by everyone.
Note that this goal is subject to the actual total earned from each video which may be less than that shown - based on monthly caps by Patreons. Entering into such a business model needs very careful planning and must be sustainable.

Patreon Campaign in my YouTube channel.
Some people produce music, comics, or art. I produce videos about applied technical creativity! - mostly building Sci-Fi props & Cosplays using 3D printing and electronics as well as traditional techniques such as sculpting, moulding & casting.

I also try to come up with new ideas and share all of the information and techniques. I don't sell props or costumes or take commissions, so my YouTube channel and website are all about content creation and engaging with my audience. I aim to produce at least one YouTube video per week, sometimes more.

If you really want to get involved in the projects, this is a chance to communicate with me and share your passion, exclusively for Patreons. I really believe in engaging with my audience and trying to give something back to my top followers - check out the rewards listed at the bottom of my Patreon page. I also eventually want to give something back to the local community, by funding education, and one day creating jobs - check out my goals on the left.

My back catalog of content already exists - Over 130 videos on YouTube and a website full of all the written versions of the projects with pictures. I'm grateful to have over 50,000 YouTube subscribers at the time of writing.
