My name is Nick.

I am a former member of the Canadian army, and I have a passion for guns.  Ever since 2010, I have been founding and directing shooting programs, including two programs I am most passionate about:

"Young Guns Calgary" and "3-Gun Calgary."

I love teaching people to shoot, especially youth, young adults, and new shooters of all ages.  My blog and video are dedicated towards helping people improve shooting, but also to discover deeper meaning and purpose through the shooting community.

My 3rd daughter is a special needs child.

Recently, managing the challenge of her disability brought into question my ability to continue on directing shooting programs.

I love her and all my daughters and it has been a struggle to figure out how to do what gives me meaning, while supporting them and my wife.

Since shooting is so intrinsic to my character, and shooting makes me a better person, I've decided to double down.  To be the best father I can be, means to have the best character I can have - and that character is molded on the range.

This has meant added financial burdens, namely in the need of additional child care services for her.

I don't like asking for help, but I do need help to keep putting on these programs, including personal, financial help to produce programs and content that others enjoy and find value in.
