Throughout my many years on this planet, the one thing that comes easily to me is writing songs. My grandmother recalls me trying to find rhymes for sentences people said; I remember writing my own melodies to lyrics I found in my Cub Scout manual. I began playing the guitar at age 13 and immediately began writing (admittedly, terrible) songs. For the past 10 years, I've been writing songs of a higher caliber. In 2012, I wrote a new song every week for one full year. Since then, I've kept up the same pace in an unofficial capacity. However, I'd like to make this official again.

I am writing, recording and releasing a new song every week for the next year (starting 1/19/15). These songs will be available to stream and download for free on my soundcloud page (soundcloud.com/aonemrson).

If this sounds like something you want to support or encourage, your patronage is very much appreciated. Regardless, I hope that you enjoy these songs!

If you decide to pledge, you will be charged once monthly.

I will work with you to collaborate on a song. Want a personalized greeting sung in that patented A-1 Mr. Son style? Look no further than this reward level.

I will send you drafts of the song and work off of your feedback. I will endeavor to complete your reward within a year of your pledge and keep you posted on my progress (though I usually work much faster than that).

I reserve the right to release the song on my own as well (after you're done with it).

We will make a run of 100 tapes through Wiener Tapes. Songs will be voted upon by my supporters for inclusion in a limited edition 60 minute tape. I love listening to tapes; don't you???

This cost should cover shipping the tapes to me + cost of production.
