Supporting Graduate Student Research
The AAPS is announcing the creation of the AAPS Graduate Student Research Award Competition to support graduate students interested in performing research on the primacy of consciousness and its applications to health care, wellbeing, and other related topics. The award is up to $1,000 per student, with $500 awarded to the University to be spent on the student's research project at the onset, and an additional $500 awarded directly to the student if the project is published in a peer-reviewed journal.

Goals

The AAPS has a goal of creating up to 10 graduate student research proposal scholarships of $1,000 to be awarded in the fall of each year.  The award is for a possible total of $1,000, with $500 awarded to the University to be spent on the student's research project at the onset of the research project, and an additional $500 awarded directly to the student if the project is published in a peer-reviewed journal.  Proposals are being accepted for the current year.  See the AAPS website for details.
