The past two years have been a growing experience for me and I am thankful to all my patrons who have been with me on this journey.

I have been writing since I was 10 years old, but it wasn't until high school that I really fell in love with writing. I was homeschooled all my life and my family moved around a lot; because of this writing quickly became my outlet and a way to express myself. In 2016 I was diagnosed with severe anxiety and mild depression. Recovering and learning how to live my life has been a process, but it was then that I decided to jump wholeheartedly into my writing. Because of my anxiety and general lack of experience I am unemployed and have been unable to find a job that works best for my mental health.  Writing, storytelling, music and art, all of these have made my life worth living.   Making a living off of writing is now a dream of mine, and through Patreon hopefully that dream will come true.

Through Patreon I have published many things; in 2017 I published A Mad Woman's Voice, my second poetry collection, which is about finding one's voice after trauma and life changing events. In 2018 I published Maybe (Not) Her, my third collection about my experience as a bisexual polyam woman.

This next year I hope to do many things and publish even more. My goals can always be found on my public posts as well as much more detail about them. But the shortened version can be found here.

  • Write, edit and publish my 4th poetry collection.
  • Co-write and edit a second short story collection.
  • Secure an agent and publishing deal for Miss Poppins.

By supporting me you will get access to a large quantity of my writing. I post current WIP updates on my patreon blog first, unpublished poetry, posts about my writing process, as well as give access to free copies or reduced prices of all my books. I send handwritten thank you cards to supporters as well as blackout poetry art, and much more!

Thank you for reading, and thank you for considering supporting me. Whether you give $1 or $10, I will be eternally grateful.  I hope my work makes you smile and adds happiness to your life as it does to mine.

Goals
$9 of $575 per month
My partner Grant is about to start grad school to become a teacher and we are both very excited to take this next step. The downside is he will be unable to work as much as he usually does and I have yet to find a job outside our home. A mixture of having little job experience, and my current mental health problems have made it hard to find a job and to be hired. Being able to make $575 through patreon will allow us to pay rent and stay in our apartment and it will greatly ease my anxiety.
