Patreon is a platform on which creative people like myself can post or send out content in return for a Patrons (thats YOU!) pledge. Usually this will be things like discounts, prints, behind the scenes, wip and commissions. You can select down the right hand side which kind of pledge amount youd want to go for and then be rewarded accordingly. Rewards will be sent out at the end of the month (if this applies).
I am a fantasy illustrator specialising in watercolour and graphite pencil. I am trying to focus more on painting and adding lots of colour to my works. Becoming a patron to me means exclusive access to the process behind my works. Whether that is with my inspiration boards or my step by step rewards, you get to see a whole range of stuff that inspires me and helps me create what I create.
Your pledge will go towards better quality watercolours that have a higher pigment and mean my works will become a lot more vibrant and colourful. Becoming a patron will also let me be able to start creating custom merchandise. This will include my artworks on products like T-shirts, mugs, Posters, Vinyl Stickers, Tote bags and MORE.
In the future your pledge will be a part of creating limited items such as Zines and colouring books!
Future tiers will give access to EXCLUSIVE limited one time products. So stick around for access!
So, who am I? My name is Tamsyn and I am an artist based in the UK. I love painting mermaids and witches. I am a Leo/Virgo (Hello other cuspers!) and I'm quite into things like tarot and meditation. I have two girls who mean everything to me and keep me on my toes!
I love nature and exploring the outdoors, like huge forests and streams. But you are actually more likely to find me indoors, painting, drawing or sleeping. I'm 26 soon to be 27 and I am refusing to accept that I am almost 30.
LIFE STORY TIME. (If above wasnt life story enough ;-))
I have honestly been drawing my whole life. As a kid I poured my feelings and imagination into my art. I drew comic books (I loved Archie Comics growing up). I also drew as realistically as I could. And I loved every minute of it. When I became an adult it slowed down - priorities were obviously elsewhere and more so when I had children. Once my babies were not babies anymore and I could focus on my hobbies a bit more, I started drawing posting my works online. The feedback I recieved fuelled me and my passion was once again brought to life (I would honestly recommend to other artists to post their stuff online! The community is fantastic and the feedback you receive boosts your confidence!). I decided to make illustration my business and that being an artist and sharing my creativity with the world was what I was meant to do. And here I am.
Part of my business is wanting to share what I've learnt over the years with you and Patreon is perfect for this. It also means I can offer one time private discounts for Patrons! (yay!)
