Big Money
At this point I can look at art as a serious source of income, and start up a regularly scheduled stream.
Part Timing
With this goal I can bring back the super deluxe quiz time for every major picture.
Independence?
This is the point at which I could potentially start living off of patreon support. Devoting myself to art full time and focusing on getting pictures finished as frequently as possible. Meaning open commissions and more pictures.
About
I am a hungry hungry art man

I get asked occasionally if I will take commissions, and I love that people like my work enough that they'd be willing to give me money for it, but I've always found myself too absorbed in my own projects to find enough time for other people's projects, money or not. Unfortunately as long as it's not a source of income, art will always just be a hobby. I've never liked the idea of running a paysite. I want my work to be freely available, it's the reason I have as many fans as I do, and it's just how I feel art should be. If I were to try to make a living off of commissions I'd have to charge something like 4 times as much in order to make a living wage, assuming I could even get enough commissions to maintain steady work. So there aren't very many options to monetize my work that I'm comfortable with. Patreon would let me keep doing what I do, without putting my work behind a pay wall, or shackling my content to the highest bidder. If there are enough people out there who like the things I produce at my own whims or my own original content and want to see pictures more frequently, I can devote more of my time to drawing, potentially even making it my full time job.
If on the other hand you were really hoping for me to open up commissions, patreon isn't necessarily a bad thing. With less time spent just making ends meet, I won't have to choose between doing my own thing and taking commissions. It also means I won't have to worry about making minimum wage on every picture. Some artists charge 200+ dollars for a single picture, and that's usually a completely fair price for the number of hours they put into their work, but I just don't feel comfortable asking for that much money. With patreon helping to fund me, I can be more selective about what commissions I take and charge prices everyone can feel good about. I'll also give patrons an early heads up if/when I open commissions.
Since I firmly believe all my work should be freely viewable, I won't make patreon exclusive images. I will however make available to patrons my works in progress, including my large backlog of uncolored drawings, unfinished sketches, and doodles. I also typically shrink my images quite a bit to make them comfortably viewed in browser, so I'll be making larger resolutions of my finished work downloadable for patrons.
Naturally to keep myself honest, I'm going with the default patreon setting in which you're only charged for each work I complete. On top of this I'll only be making my serious works paid images. It's a little hard to define what those will be since there isn't a solid metric for what constitutes a big picture, but suffice it to say I won't be including quick sketches like I make for fan milestones and contests. You can also set limits on your monthly donations, so you don't have to worry about me uploading 20 drawings in a week and emptying your bank account. Unless you want to encourage that sort of thing of I guess. Also, since patreon waits till the end of the month to finalize transactions, you can always change your mind before then.
Until patreon allows patrons to select what kind of content they want to support, I won't be able to separate my futa/non futa work. Since the point of starting a patreon is to be able to freely pursue when inspiration strikes, I can't guarantee that I'll produce or the other, or even an equal distribution of both. I can only ask that you keep that in mind and sign on only if you're comfortable supporting both, but also potentially one more than the other. There are however a few things I can guarantee I won't draw, and you won't have to worry about accidentally paying for. These include:
poopoo
peepee
gore
slob stuff
