Milestone Goals
I will take down the pop-up add.

Please let me do it! Not only it's annoying it hardy makes me $10 bucks a month.
Patreon will become a priority.

If we reach this one, I will make Patreon one of my priorities and will try to fill my Patreon activity feed with as many sketches, screenshots and sneak peeks as I can. And will try spend more time here in general.
I will buy food for homeless ghetto cats.

If we ever reach this goal, I promise to buy a $10 dollars worth of cat food, give it to homeless cats, and film the whole thing and post it here on patreon...
I'm purposefully making this goal quite high because if we will rich it I will be happy but also annoyed that I have to go film this crap and I don't even have anyone to hold my camera for me, so it will be weird and awkward...
But if we never reach it then I will be sad, and yet happy that at least I don't have to bother filming anything...
I will send you originals of my drawings.

Will be sending originals of some of my drawings to "rebels"($10) (maybe to "Activists"($5) as well. the postage itslef will cost me $3+ so...)
New laptop.

(Eventually) I will replace my slow-ass ACER with something pricey. This will allow me to quite literally work faster.
Leave the ghetto behind.

I wish this town had a supermarket or a decent hospital... But hey, that's the reason the rent is so low. To be honest I am sort of used to living in this shit-hole by now. But if could help it I would rather move to a bit more friendly place...
Vanarts 2D animation program.

"Vanarts" 2D animation program is something that I've been obsessed with for 8+ years now, I think. I will need to keep this goal going for at least three years to gather the necessary sum.
About
Arnold Schwarzenegger once said: "When you're out there partying, horsing around, someone out there at the same time is working hard. Someone is getting smarter and someone is winning."
I like that quote. I believe that's exactly how our world works. I believe that in life not the guy with most talent who wins, but the guy with most perseverance. The one who is relentless to the point of being foolish. Who wouldn't let go no matter what.
You could be very talented or gifted even, but if you just drift through life, squander your gift and don't care about reaching your full potential - the most talentless guy, with enough willpower in him, will ALWAYS leave you in the dust.
I was born in USSR. The "Iron Curtain" was still up so there was no comics. Then USSR fell and I discovered Disney cartoons and video games and my life NEVER been the same since. All I ever wanted to do was draw, but my folks sent me to a music school instead... That didn't workout...
My family loved me dearly but they didn't give a fuck about my "hobby". So I never got any proper training at arts. But I kept drawing... I was awfully bad at it though (still am)... Used to think I have no talent whatsoever. But through thick and thin, drawing was the only thing that would keep me going... (And keept me sane) It was my only escape... My fortress. It's like no matter how tough things got around me I always felt that as long as I keep drawing, it all will workout at the end... And everything else became insignificant... sometimes even my friends, girlfriends and family...
I still hope that one day I will have a chance to attend a proper art-school... That would be an embarrassing sight considering my age... But I don't care even if I will be 60 by the time I have the opportunity - I'm grabbing it!

Hello. Thank you for visiting my
patreon page. Making a pledge is by far the simplest and the most transparent way to show that you do give a damn about my work.
(Although you can always hide your pledge, so that nobody would ever know that you actually DO give a damn about my work...)
If you are new to patreon - http://justfuckinggoogleit.com
Who am I?
Philanthropist, playboy, millionaire...
No, wait, that's Tony Stark.
I am just AKABUR... A guy who doesn't believe in taking days off.
Why pledge?
Because that's the right thing to do. The industry is in the crapper. The success of my games illustrates that very well. There is me, then there is Gabe and then there are those "breeding season" guys... and... em... And that's pretty much it. There is no competition whatsoever...
So I say vote with your hard earned cash and let the world know that you care and that you need more games for grown-ups.
Why NOT pledge?
To get "free stuff" of any kind. This is not kickstarter. Patreon is a tip-jar, please treat it as such.
Let me repeat this: PLEDGING WILL NOT GIVE YOU ACCESS TO ANY "FREE STUFF"! Pretty much all of my posts are public these days. I only make "Patron Only" posts when the said post contains "naughty bits", but even then it's usually just some screenshots and nothing more. All my games are a freeware these days and all my art goes into those games, so please, I'm begging you: ONLY SUPPORT ME FOR THE SAKE OF SUPPORTING ME and not in hopes of getting access to some mystical "patreon members content area", because there is just no such thing.
My projects. Well here is a short list:
1. Princess Trainer GOLD EDITION.

It has action, it has feels and it contains a little part of my soul. I am officially back to working on this one. As you read this I am adding a gazillion of new things of various caliber into the game!
2. Magic Shop. (On hold).

Successfully completed.
4. Jak XXX. (On hold).

A web comic. BlackTea writes it and then commissions me to illustrate it. Because of my crazy workload barely have time to work on in at all, so it's being updated very seldom...You can find the blog itslef here: http://jakxxx.blogspot.com/
5. Broken Heart Bordello. (IS BACK!!!)

It is hard to explain what is "BHB"... Or rather what it used to be... It's been hard to explain it back when we just started and it's just equally hard to explain what it is, now. It was a very peculiar project... The blog is here: http://brokenheartbordello.blogspot.com/
EDIT: "BHB" has been brought back! HERE: https://www.patreon.com/Smersh
Back to the pledges.... You can cancel yours anytime. And you can cancel it even before the actual charge accrues a month later. The whole system is very transparent and no one is forcing anyone's hand here.
