I am a polymath with a ride range of interests both in the arts and the sciences. I am interested in providing as much information to as many people as possible and investigating unanswered questions.

Because of the diverse topics about which I write, I am confident that you will find something that you like. If you are not interested in politics and investing, that's fine. I also run a small blog focusing on geek related topics, including crowd funded games and videos.

While a standard business model is useful in many cases, I like the idea that Patreon, Kickstarter, and other systems allow a more direct involvement between content creators and consumers. It is because of the content consumers that I have a reason to write, and therefore you are at least as important as the content itself.

Research

I am currently working on a number of research projects, spanning a few different fields, including the psychology and anthropology of religion, gun control, and some topics in mathematics. I have posted a few papers on pre-print servers and most can be found on my OSF profile.

Blogs

I currently run a handful of blogs. Politicoid focuses on my take on the political landscape. Trading Politics provides investment and trading ideas as well as a number of educational articles. Spiritual Anthropologist is my primary alter ego; on this blog, I talk about topics of science, philosophy, religion, and of course alcohol. And finally, Geekers Keep is all about different geek related topics. The hat in my profile picture might have given away my interest in such topics.

Finally, I have all of my articles aggregated on my personal blog. Amazingly danielgoldman.us was not registered when I ran a search. Lucky, huh? The blog will also feature more personal articles about myself and miscellanious topics that do not really fit on any of my other blogs.

Podcasts

I also recently started a series of podcasts for The Spiritual Anthropologist.

Mentoring

I recently started mentoring for Coursera. It's kind of like being a tutor, but it's 100% volunteer work, so no pay. Right now I am mentoring their course on Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis. I plan on mentoring additional courses in the future. Patreon contributions help compensate for the lack of pay for what really constitutes a job.
