A Little about me:
Hi, my name is Matt and I've been watching pro wrestling for longer than my memory goes back. One of my earliest memories is sitting in a waiting room somewhere(maybe a doctors or something) when I was so young that my feet didn't pass the end of the chair. I remember my mum telling me to sit there and "watch the telly." What was on the telly was some sort of pro wrestling and i was hooked from there. I spent my school years setting my VCR recorder to record Raw, Smackdown and PPVs. Even though like most kids I hated early Monday mornings but the day after a WWE PPV, I would wake up extra early to see the results, saving most of the show for after school. I would rush home from school to watch wrestling and even go home early on a weekend evening from being with friends(people who didn't like wrestling) to watch wrestling. Now I'm 29 Years old, have been watching more and more of amazing pro wrestling from all over the world, making my love for wrestling grow everyday.

My Blog and Website:
I posted my first blog on altprowrestling.com on May 25th, 2018 as a result of a build up of thoughts and opinions on all the wrestling I watch daily. Since I started blogging, I have targeted indie wrestling to review and preview as it really is what I love in pro wrestling. I watch indie wrestling on multiple on-demand services which are more readily available these days. I don't just cover independent wrestling, but I cover New Japan Pro Wrestling and NXT too which are both not considered independent by most people. The subscriptions I have today are Highspots Wrestling Network, Ring Of Honor's Honor Club, njpwworld and WWE Network, I occasionally subscribe to powerbomb.tv for certain shows too. I like to preview shows as it gets my excited for a show or tour by a company and post thoughts about each show with the line-up and I also review shows for people who can't afford the PPVs, don't have the time or won't watch for some other reason. I feel I have an obligation to my subscribers and readers to cover the shows in-depth and intertwine my thoughts with the review as I watch. I really only like to post positive reviews as I don't like to watch bad wrestling. I will post bad reviews if I watch a bad show but that is the main reason for me previewing and reviewing the shows I do.

What to look forward to:
A few things about the future of the altprowrestling.com site. First of all, I will be doing audio reviews and other shows soon and most of these will be exclusive to my patrons for a limited time before going public. I also plan on creating content that will be exclusive to Patreon and that will not go public. Coming into 2019 big changes will be coming to my site including a new look and whole new fell, I cannot talk about these plans in too much detail but they excite me and I'm sure my readers and subscribers will love it too.

Final message:
Thank you for reading this message and showing interest in my Patreon page, I hope if you can't become a patron of mine, you can subscribe to my blog for free. You will get e-mail updates whenever I post and will never receive spam by subscribing. Once again, thank you.
