After years spent thinking about how to "save the world" as we often say, I had an insight that I still feel very good about when I consider the challenges associated with actually changing people's habits and priorities. That insight was when people feel good then they tend to do good.

Since that thought made its way out of my subconscious mind, I've made it my primary ambition in life to be a part of the solution that helps people to feel good so that ultimately they can become better humans and subsequently help their friends, family, and strangers achieve the same.

One way that I've been trying to move the needle towards more of us living responsibly and with loving kindness for ourselves and our neighbors, is through solo, bicycle touring adventures and associated posts that include my thoughts and experiences, images, and videos.

I created this Patreon profile to reach a wider audience when I'm on those tours and in a way that I've never achieved with my previous journeys by bike: Patreon's platform will allow my audience to take a more active, supporting role in my adventures and all levels will continue to have access to my day-to-day updates from the tour.

Anyone that joins my audience in the next four months, any tier, any donation amount, will be directly supporting my upcoming journey, Europa 360, Barcelona to Barcelona by Bicycle. For 90 days, as I circumnavigate a large portion of Europe on my bicycle, I'll be providing all of the details, through images, video, and text, on my Patreon Profile, on the webpages of André Breton Cycling dot com, and on my social media channels (linked to my Patreon profile).

My hope is that this Europa 360 bicycle tour will inspire others to reconsider their own possible and subsequently set goals to achieve their own, new-level of personal greatness and then do it again and again throughout their lifetimes. As this implies, I believe that doing the work, including setting out to achieve difficult goals, is a critical ingredient to gaining the insights that allow a person to become a good human.

For those that accept the challenge, I predict that they will collide with, and annihilate, the borders of their comfort zone, an edge manufactured, as I've discovered on my journeys by boot, boat, motorcycle, and bicycle, by typically baseless fear, and along the way achieve real, lasting, mind and body health and clarity.

Beyond individuals that by chance cross paths with André Breton Cycling in real or digital life, it is my hope that if one person discovers my story and starts their own journey then perhaps this one person will affect one more in the same way, a transformation of mind and body health with all of the benefits, and that their sparks will lead to one more, and so on, ultimately creating a wave of outward spreading, contagious, positive change, a beautiful realization of the late Jane Jacobs simple prediction, "everything good starts small."

That is my wish and everything that comes with it for the well being of humanity and the biodiversity that inspires and nurtures us on Planet Earth.
