I will post updates of the recipe development and blogging process and you will be able to ask me questions about what I do - and I might even ask for advice from you about current and future content as well!

Most importantly, you are helping towards the cost of ingredients for my recipe testing and recipe development and eventually go towards creating my own domain and website and better equipment for photographing and recording more high quality content for you!

About

My name is Andrew in the Kitchen and I am a baking blogger and I test and develop recipes to post on my blog!

A little bit about me, I am 22 years old, I graduated with a degree in Mathematics with Statistics and I am also a trained Secondary Mathematics Teacher. I started my blog back in 2013 while I was still in school... those of you who have been around long enough might remember me as The School Cook but eventually I rebranded to Andrew in the Kitchen.

Since university, I focused on developing and honing my baking skills and now 10 years later after watching the very first episode of The Great British Bake Off in 2010 and wanting to be on the show, I am creating my own food content on my blogInstagram and occasionally YouTube, testing and developing my own recipes to share with you so you can try them at home!

The process of recipe testing and development is not easy; inevitably things won't go right all the time. By supporting me on Patreon, I want to give you a behind-the-scenes look at what I do as a food blogger, my process of producing recipes and content and also give you a direct platform to influence the content I produce. My recipes and content will always remain free to you as a reader, however.

Here are some of my most recent recipes that I've developed and tested so you can see what I am producing! Check out my Matcha and White Chocolate Stuffed Cookies and also my Peanut Butter version of the same recipe! I also make a lot of recipes influenced by my heritage so I have these Hong Kong Style Cocktail Buns and Egg Tarts and Coconut and Red Bean Pudding but also I have lots of easy crowd-pleasing recipes like these Peanut Butter Brownies too!

Thanks for reading and I hope you'll support me by becoming a patron! I hope my recipes and bakes inspire you to get in the kitchen and do some baking! Here is one of my favourite quotes from one of my favourite movies of all time: "anyone can cook."
