Hi, my name is Andy and I'm making a theme park management simulator game for PC and potentially mobile devices. Like many others I grew up playing Chris Sawyer's RollerCoaster Tycoon for hours upon hours and the magic never really left from that game. I found myself revisiting it again and again well into over two decades after its release and I never stopped being fascinated with the play style.

Over the years I have seen many other developers try to recreate that sense of nostalgia either exactly or with a twist and never really hit the mark. Additionally the followup releases from Atari developed by Frontier Studios (in my opinion) completely lost the magic that existed from the hands of the first two games in the series.

My goal with Theme Park Manager (working title) is to capture the magic of the most successful games in the genre by building off of the pure mechanics that pioneered their success (Isometric perspective, iconic art style and music, sense of immersion, full park management experience, freedom to build custom rides, ability to share your creations with other players) while also introducing new mechanics and ideas I've always wanted to see done well (toggle-able 1st person ride perspective, ability to switch to a unrestricted adjustable camera view, ability to play as a park guest and walk around, and more).

I've been slowly developing the core mechanics of this game over the last two years in my spare time, putting in late nights pushing commits to GitHub and trying to get work in while riding the train to and from university. I'm beyond serious about making this game and I just need your support to really get this fire started. The more support I can get from Patrons the more time I can devote to development instead of working a day job.

I'm a broke 26 year old university student with a family to feed (yes, literally) and I need your support to make this dream a reality. Please contribute if you can and stay up to date with the project.

If you'd like to know more about my background in programming, you can check out my portfolio and my GitHub. I got my start in programming developing custom mods for Call of Duty 5 World at War back in 2010 and went on to create UGX-Mods, one of the leading websites for finding custom content for the CoD series of games on PC. I also developed multiple major maps and mods for CoD which you can find more info about on my portfolio.

Thank you for reading.
