It is a tad difficult to calculate how much we need every month, because the reality is, regardless of how much folks donate, all money is gone by the end of the month. Managing a website is expensive, but certainly with more and more folks taking direct action and civil disobedience, we are having to cover a lot more legal fees. 

We are never able to help everybody that requests aid, but we do try. Alongside one off legal fees for folks, we attempt to send money to at least 4 prisoners every month. We don't always manage this. For that reason, we are aiming at 1k as the new goal, to see if once we reach that goal we are able to put aside a bit of money every month for when big fines for folks taking action come.
