Amy Lee Pearsallis creating an Acting and Writing career
For less than the cost of a single tall latte, you'll get access to my monthly newsletter where I dish candidly about creative projects I'm working on - and other personal nonsense going on in my life that comes at a premium. You'll also receive two recipes a month, test driven and tweaked by yours truly. If you follow me on Instagram (@animasolaarts), you know I'm an able home cook. While I am a carnivore (and gluten-free - Celiac, good times), I'll be sure to include at least one solid lacto-ovo vegetarian post a month (I do love my veggies). One of my favorite things to do is to cook for my friends. If you're going to be a member of my community, I want you to eat well.
Behind this door: you get all of the goodness listed above, PLUS access to varying digital acts of creativity at least once a month. Anticipate things like (but not limited to): original poems, artsy original photo desktop wallpaper, audio clips, candid vlogs, and random freakin' virtual ephemera. Get your behind-the-scenes fix here.
At this level, you get all of the above, PLUS something in your IRL mailbox (once a month) that is neither bill nor advertisement. That’s right: get ready for handwritten postcards! No really, get ready, because my handwriting is atrocious. Together, we will keep the USPS relevant. (Limited to 15 lovely patrons, because writer's cramp.) Many Thanks and Very Truly Yours.
About Amy Lee Pearsall
Hi! My name's Amy Lee - you can call me AL - and I am delighted that you are here. I'm guessing you like creative people, and that supporting the artistic process on some level excites you. I love that, because it lights me up, too.
What I do
So a little about me...I'm an actor in theatre, film, and podcasts (SAG-AFTRA / AEA). I also write fiction, poetry, and have recently moved into screenplays. I dabble in photography, mixed media visual art, and the fine art of home cooking, mostly for my own amusement. Sometimes, I've even been known to work as a producer. Did I mention I also work full-time at a day job? It sounds like a lot, right? It's a lot. Even with strong hustle.
How can we help each other?
What I need help with in order to take my acting and writing career to the next level: 1) time, 2) capital that makes that time possible, and 3) a profound sense of accountability to my audience. To that end, a good friend of mine recommended that I give the Patreon community a try. That's why I'm here. I need creative patrons. I need y'all. (I grew up in far west Texas, so words like y'all will occasionally be employed. Want to learn more about me? Come check out my website.) And in exchange for your assistance in helping me to obtain time, capital and accountability, I offer some nifty rewards to those contributing at varying levels that you can read all about in the sidebar!
So...what the heck is Patreon?
Excellent question. Did you watch the video above? Go get something nice to drink and watch it. It won't even take you two minutes, I promise. It explains it all there. And if you still don't get it, shoot me a message. We'll chat.
What I'd like to Propose...
I make stuff. I let you in on the process - and the progress. I get things done because you've chosen to believe in me enough to contribute, and that holds me accountable. Maybe we even bounce ideas off one another. I take some projects from pipe dream to full fruition, thanks to you. Together, we take things up a notch and we have fun. Because if we're not having fun...man, why are we even doing it? So let's play. =)
Much love and many thanks -
