Hi, everyone! If you came here from Anime Instrumentality or my Twitter account, then you'll already know who I am.
For anyone else, my name is Chris, but I often go by zzeroparticle on the internet. And I'm a big fan of anime music. No, make that a huge huuuge anime music nerd who can talk your ear off when it comes to anime J-pop themes and anime soundtracks. I've taken that passion into starting an anime music website, Anime Instrumentality where I do just that.
In addition to reviews, I will also share my thoughts about the use of music within the show as well as some background information on the music gathered through conducting interviews and reading the booklet inside the CD covers. Also expect articles concerning my opinions on music in general and the state of the music industry in Japan. Finally, I will create an anime music radio show where I'll share many tracks from anime and provide a bit of commentary about the music and the composer so that you'll learn a lot about the people behind the music.
What You'll Get:
- At least a post a week on the Anime Instrumentality Blog. It'll either be a review, an editorial, or even an episodic post!
- A post showing all of the noteworthy anime music CDs that will be released that week so you know what to look out for.
- A bi-weekly radio show called Anime Music on the AIRS where I share anime music and provide commentary.
Anime is already a niche fandom, and anime music is an even smaller niche within the niche. By helping to support me through Patreon, you can spread the reach of anime music because that will allow me to publish more types of content that you can share to show how awesome anime music really is.
So pay as much or as little as you want! My content will always be free because I'd want as many people to listen to anime music as possible. But with your help, I can do so much more. So come join with me on this awesome journey!
Let's grow the anime music community together!
