Milestone Goals
Ink, blotting paper
Not that I need more ink, but the more I write the more I use. At $50, I'll be able to buy a bottle of the "treat" ink I really want, and also blotting paper, because most of my fountain pen ink dries slower than regular ink.
Professional Editor
When I reach $500, I will be able to have a professional editor read through and edit my first novel.
(Added 8/23/15: okay, actually $500 will only get some of the novel edited unless I remove a lot of the words. But this is a good start.)

Someone must sweep the floors, whether before, after, or during the magic. My vote, as always, is for during.
If you've been seeking out stories that celebrate the magic in the everyday, that celebrate knitting, spinning, and handwork, and that admit that detailed tasks contribute to the smooth running of a household, you'll love my stories.
I write stories for both children and adults, and am a fiber arts teacher. I find magical threads in the everyday to create stories that are both grounded and fanciful.
If you love Tamora Pierce, Shannon Hale, Nina Kiriki Hoffman, or Katherine Addison I think my stories will resonate within you. Join me for a magical ride.
