Namaste and Hello. I’m Anuradha Kowtha, Transformation Consultant/Writer/Choreographer at Manifest by Design.

I go by Anuradha. Most people say it: 'An UUU rad a'. But it's actually pronounced 'ANOO ra dha'. The 'dha' is a mixture of 'd' and 'th' that does not truly exist in the English but is a common sound in most Indian languages, including my mother tongue, Telugu. (Might take a bit of practice on your part).

I'm a proud United Statesian (American) and Brit (since 2016), and proud of the south Indian heritage from my own immigrant parents. I'm also have a B.S. in Biology, an M.A. in Rhetoric. I'm an experienced educator, researcher, editor and business owner. I'm also an accomplished Bharata Natyam dancer and painter. Now I guide clients through this work of rediscovering who they are, why they are here and removing the conditioning that keeps them from doing it. And I also write powerfully about reclaiming identity and leading with purpose.

My research has been around how the colonization of India by the British impacted the nature of Bharata Natyam and identity, especially in Indian diaspora. While I'm still interested in that topic, my work now looks at identity and reclamation as part of a bigger process.  It's very much about living our purpose, in alignment with our inner truth and liberatory practices. I am very much about how to embody these into our work, life, and relationships in ways that support our vision and that vision of liberation for all.

Here's a recent piece I wrote about navigating our work and a short excerpt:

"To do your work does mean: you take responsibility for doing your work in such a way that is in alignment to your inner truth and is actively dismantling systems of oppression. You get to decide how and prioritize where to focus your resources and energy at any given time, use them for the highest good.

To do your work does mean: the how you do things is just as important as what you do. Using oppression in your work does not justify the harm caused or the end result. We must seek to root out oppressive ways in our work, our words, and our actions at all levels."

I also write about my experience of being an API and my own love of the rich arts of Bharata Natyam and writing.

Thanks for joining me on this journey. Let's roll up our sleeves and get to work.

And as always, if you're interested to give a one time payment via PayPal, that is always welcome. Here's the it is and thank you in advance for your patronage.
