What's up people!

My name is David Mitchell and I'm currently a freelance artist, doing illustration and conceptual design. I've been doing freelance for several years and have also had the opportunity to work in the gaming industry for a few of those years as a concept artist. I got serious about art shortly after graduating high school about 13 years ago, went to art school for animation and that's when I really caught the bug. I've always been a writer, coming up with ideas for other worlds and the characters and creatures that live in them. But when I began to develop my skills as an artist and saw that I could create those things with actual images, not just words in my mind or on a page, that was it for me, I was hooked. I decided to start up this Patreon page after my brother, who is also an artist, told me about it and urged me to give it a shot.

I'm really looking forward to delving into several personal projects I've got planned with illustrations, animated shorts, process videos, web comics, and more! With your support, all the time, equipment, and other things needed to make these crazy worlds and characters I'm always writing about will be available to me. I'll be able to fully realize these projects and share them. 

I'll be creating traditional and digital work. Though I am a scifi fanatic and most of what I do is about my weirdo dreams of monsters and alien worlds, sexy space suit wearing super gadget wielding women of the universe beyond etc...I'll also be showing my current explorations of art outside my comfort zone. So...robots, massive cities, vehicles, etc...it's all fair game for me! I'll also have various looks into my thought and creation processes with rewards like original sketches and prints, exclusive video tutorials, psd files and custom brushes and more! You guys will be able to see it all every step of the way!
