I'm a computer science student in Philadelphia, currently attending Drexel University and working on an unpaid research project in radiation biophysics. I'm looking for funding to spend time working on open source projects (especially ones that benefit marginalized communities), pay for workshops to learn awesome new skills, and generally stay afloat in the misogynist, ableist world of software development and computer science academia. You can find out more about me on my personal website and see my work on my GitHub page.

Where your money goes: Conference/hackathon attendance fees. Workshops with organizations like GirlDevelopIt. Travel costs for me to participate in industry events and visit my family and friends in Pittsburgh more often. Medical bills. College expenses. New hardware (I've always wanted a Raspberry Pi!). Coffee.
