What is the Ask Project
I am Corey Gil-Shuster. I am a Canadian who lives in Israel off and on since 1989. I have an MA in conflict studies and work on various project related to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. I started this project because the media always shows the extremes of this conflict and never reflects what the people really think. So I thought, why not ask them- let the people speak for themselves.

So the rules are that the questions come from you the viewers. I go to the streets of Israel and Palestine to ask random people to answer your questions. The content is unedited. All answers are included.

Why rely on media interpretation and spin of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict when you can hear directly from Israelis and Palestinians? Help support the most raw and real views of the people in this conflict.

Where your money goes
All funding goes to travel, translation and equipment to make this project possible. The more funding the project receives, the more videos I can create and the further I can go to get all views. For general help to the project, give whatever you can. For those who want to help support the project, see the different tier options for funding on the right.
Tiers
Basic Travel Sponsor
$25 or more per month
Provide travel expenses for one video. Your funds will go towards paying for bus travel to larger cities and towns in Israel or Palestine. Your name will be listed as a sponsor in the video and you will have early access to view the video before the public.
Support Palestinian Translator
$150 or more per month
Support the Palestinian translator (Arabic to English) in one video. You can specify the question if have a specific question. Your name will be listed as a sponsor in the video and you will have early access to view the video before the public.
Advanced Travel Sponsor
$200 or more per month
To ask Israelis and Palestinians that live in smaller communities, I have to rent a car. This includes Palestinians villages, Jewish settlements, small Israeli communities (kibbutz, moshav) and Arab Israeli villages. Most are difficult to get to without a car. An Advanced Travel Sponsor pays for one day's travel to these areas. This is particularly useful for questions for West Bank Jewish settlers, Palestinian farmers and Israeli Arabs in the north and south. The sponsor can ask a specific question from any group.  Your name will be listed as a sponsor in the video and you will have early access to view the video before the public.
Sponsor a Full Video
$400 or more per month
This project is entirely supported by you the viewers. Each video costs a lot in travel, translation and equipment expenses.  The sponsor of a full video can ask any question from any group.  At the beginning of the video will be a special thank you from Corey, naming you as the sole sponsor of the video. Additionally, you will have early access to view all the videos that month before the public.
Goals

The project is entirely funded by the viewers. Contributions to the project go towards travel, translation and equipment, all for the creation of this project to let you, the viewers, know what Israelis and Palestinians think.
