I'm DJ and I want to thank you on checking out this patreon page and thank you for reading, before you go any further; it's best that you check out the website below before you hear what I have to say:

Okay, done? Good. If you want to learn more and want to contribute, read on.

I started writing back in 2014 as a way to express my interest in videogames, little did I know that this little experiment would be taken to the next level where it would become a passion. I've been taken a-back from how much support the blog is getting in the three years that I've been doing this is quite astonishing. Thank you.

In September 2015, I launched Galaxy and since then the blog has grown to feature First Impressions, Reviews, Opinions, and Discussions.

  1. I have numerous goals like expanding the blog from the blog format into something you see on Polygon or the big dotcoms, like a web-magazine or something similar to that.
  2. I will not include baked in ads or monetization: I hate advertisements and I imagine you're the same way, when you go to Youtube and have to put up with 100 different ads and it becomes so annoying, I don't want to do that and furthermore, I don't want you to come onto the website and have to put up with advertisements, I want you to read without the need for you to scroll through ads.
  3. I won't score my reviews. It's something that I used to do but no longer do, I feel like review scores tend to limit the review and also tend to not be indicative of said review. Also, a review is someone's opinion so put a score on it? I have done away with it entirely.
  4.  Content usually goes up weekly and sometimes even weekends. I'm making sure to be there and bring out content that not only informs but is enjoyable to read.
If you want to contribute and give some funds, I'll lay out what the funds will be used for. Additonal funding means I can take the blog into something that I've wanted to do for a while: Expand the blog into a web-magazine or something similar to the nature. It also means that I can do much more like go to gaming events around the nation like PAX East and PAX West to bring more coverage to you.

If this is an idea that you want to get behind, I welcome your support. This means that I can shape the website in any way I want, shape the content I provide to you, and bring more gaming related articles directly to you.

If you don't want to support me in this endeavor, then it's okay too, I'll be as grateful to see you read, like, and comment. In return, I'll continue to provide the most informative gaming related news, opinions, discussions, and more directly to you.

Thanks for taking the time out of your day to read this and I'm excited to see where the future takes us and what the future holds.

Cheers,
DJ.
