PLEASE DONT PASS ME BY!? Hello all! I never thought I'd find myself here, trying to escape the rat race, 9-5 lifestyle. Well, here I am. Living in the moment as I can. I love to create more than anything. To take something discarded and turn it into something desirable, beautiful. Crafting keeps me distracted from the brutal pain of fibromyalgia. I can't walk very far, or stand very long, but my hands still work, and my mind never stops. I will be uploading videos starting in January. This is outside my comfort zone, but if it makes you happy, I'm on it! So stay tuned and check back often!

I feel a bit discarded myself. I will share that story if you ask, but the short of it is that my life has taught me how to turn tradgedy into treasure.

WHY SUPPORT ME? First of all, you will be my hero, and I don't say that lightly. I don't have any heros, just people who like to tell me my dreams are impractical and discourage me daily. But more importantly, touching my life literally lets you touch thousands. A simple gift of $10 buys me a pack of clay and a roll of hemp rope. I can make thousands of hand rolled beads and hundreds of bracelets with that one gift. Bracelets I quite often give to children. sad children, sick children, children I may never see again.....and I tell them not to feel sad when they wear it, because even though they can't see me anymore, I'm thinking of them. I'm no stranger to volunteer work. There is nothing I'd rather do than sit in the nursing home all day, crocheting a pair of arm warmers or a blanket, listening to a lonely old soul bring history to life and transport me to another time. Where do you think I learned how to crochet?

I need your patronage desperately. I'm trying to launch a home based business while simultaneously educating myself in herbalism, all the while fighting my VA doctors for alternative therapies that the government won't support.

A BIT OF BACKGROUND: I am a single mom of three beautiful, creative and energetic souls. My daughters, though still young, follow in my imaginitive footsteps. My ten year old has a creative mind and an art for story telling. My 8 year old has a huge heart for humanity and is already writing and singing her own music. My 5 year old baby boy has a charisma that rivals any actor or politician. I'm waiting in absolute awe to see his talents unfold in the next few years. A little more about me, I am a veteran of the USAF. I was active duty during 9/11. I deployed twice to the middle east. There are moments I will never forget.

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT ME:I have a back burner lust for photography. My dream is to travel the world, capturing every unseen beauty for everyone to see. While I wait for my next opportunity to travel, I dable in every craft imaginable. Crochet, quilting, beading, baking, painting, macramé, bracelets, dreamcatchers, wall hangings, tulle skirts, satin bows, duck tape roses and even some tiedyed upcycled creations. I always intended to sell my creations, but somehow they always manage to become gifts to new people I meet. Like they were meant for that person all along. I'm stongly considering pan handling to pay for organic ingredients and alternative medicine.

WHY YOU SHOULD KNOW ME: I am a lover, but I can fight, especially for people who are unable to defend themselves. When I care about someone, I give with everything I've got, even knowing that I'll probably get hurt. I have loved with all my heart and I still do, even after having it broken more than a few times. I don't believe you can love someone so truly without having experienced a devastating loss. I am out of work while trying to manage my fibromyalgia, but I refuse to turn to welfare. I am not my disability and no matter what anyone tries to convince me of, I still have a great deal to offer. I just need the right supporters! I'm more of a giver than a taker. This Patreon thing is a bit scary to me. I don't have the hang of this yet, but I promise to always pay it forward.

A FEW MORE THINGS: I never give up when I want something. Asking for help is hard for me. My favorite color is the rainbow. The world is my asylum, and I will paint its walls. **Follow me on IG @asylumwalls

Lots of supplies and packaging needed, not to mention a user fee I expect. I need to order jars wholesale to market my new organic body scrub. Naturally samples for all patrons who help me get to this milestone in my journey!
