Hi, I'm Paula Blair and I'm a UK-based scholar and educator of film and visual culture with publications on moving image production concerning societies transitioning from conflict.

Since early 2018 I've been creating the Audiovisual Cultures podcast and website. Most episodes examine a cultural product such as a film and related themes, issues, its aesthetics and potential impact or place in culture more broadly. In other episodes I speak to artists and scholars about their work and cover events like academic arts and humanities conferences.

I also write an occasional blog and continue to work on scholarly publications. On my YouTube channel you can find my research and study skills videos.

Your support in creating the podcast and web resources enables me to do research and share knowledge and ideas with others. Together we can make media literacy and robust, life-long learning accessible and inclusive.

Thank you for visiting my page and for your patronage.

All the best,
Paula
