Aya Whitfield is creating poetry, chapbooks

Hello! I'm Aya, a college student on the East Coast of the United States. I've been writing prose since I was a child, writing poetry since high school, and performing poetry since my first year in college.  Writing is and always has been a huge part of my life, and I love sharing my work with the world. Most of my poetry is available for free (!!!) on tumblr. I've also published two chapbooks: paradise and rabbit in the moon, available on a pay-what-you-want basis.

So what is this for? I want a space where I can show every part of my creative process, from first drafts to recordings to experimental works. I want a space where I can share myself with you. On this page, you'll find everything from snippets to exclusive chapbooks to videos/audio of me reading my poetry. This is also a collaborative, shared space—I want to hear from you, I welcome your feedback and suggestions.

If you decide to become a patron, I will be eternally grateful. Your support goes towards my financial stability, and when I can, I do my best to pass on the support I've received and help other artists. Any amount helps, even just $1 a month, and you can withdraw your support at any point for any reason, no questions asked.

To summarize: become a patron to get access to cool stuff and support a local poet!
