About Axolotl Magazine

Hey folks:

Thanks in advance for your contributions toward helping us give all the literary orphans a home. We're partial to cosmic serendipity -- incidental literary occurrences that seem to be about the universe itself... all while telling the story on the surface of a grapefruit.

Axolotl publishes between 5 and 6 issues annually and is on pace to eclipse (smash, really) our past two years' submissions mark. We average just under 100 submissions per month, which equates to around 900 for the academic year.

We're eternally grateful for any support you can offer us as we seek to ultimately pay contributors for their work. Yall make this whole thing worth it. All your generous gifts will be put toward the following projects:

Maintenance and hosting for the site
Contest funds and payment for contributors
Creation of AXOLOTL swag

Keep it weird. Keep it classy.

$0 of $40 per Issue
With $40 per issue, or the equivalent of $20 per month, the entirety of our hosting costs for the site and our Submittable account will be covered, which opens up an entirely new stream of possibilities for the production of Axolotl-themed gear.
