Get Logic Pro X
I've been mostly recording using Audacity and Garageband but have been hearing stuff in my head that may require more complex editing. This may be the starting point!
A New Condenser Mic
If we get to $500, I'll be getting a nice condensor microphone so my recordings will sound even better! (That also means I'll need to practice more coz we'll hear everything in detail. Hehe.)
A DSLR Camera
I'll be able to record higher quality video with a good camera! Super yay!

My name is Az. I write music, tell really bad lame jokes, and teach guitar. I used to live in Berkeley, California and am now back in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Since I've been back, I've:
- Performed as a soloist for the Distant Worlds: Music From Final Fantasy concert with the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra
- Released homemade indie solo guitar recordings: 1 album & 2 EPs
- Organized a 9-installment open mic series that helped many young musicians get a start in the local scene
WHAT KIND OF SONGS? The songs you'll get will range from solo acoustic fingerstyle guitar pieces to layered electric guitar explorations.
WHY FINGERSTYLE GUITAR? There's so much stuff that can happen with fingerstyle guitar - you can play 2 or more parts at once and the textures really inspire me. You'll get to hear how the musical universe can be transplanted into a single guitar!
In addition to guitar, I've been also writing and improvising some jazzy ukulele stuff so you might hear that too!
HOW OFTEN? You'll get about 1-2 songs a month.
