I've been making Bearmageddon in my spare time for a couple of years now. I love the project and will continue to work on it. It has gained a faithful following and I know there are readers who are generous enough that, given the opportunity, would support the project financially.
Depending on how this works out, having an income could really help me prioritize Bearmageddon more, perhaps even make us able to update more often than once a week. It would also keep the comic free online, even when a book is published. On top of all that, I want to pay Kailey, my current colorist, for her work. I have recently been paying her out of pocket, but she deserves more.
Thanks in advance. Bearmageddon will continue on as it has, regardless of what happens here. This can only make things better, and I figure I have nothing to lose by giving it a try.
A special note about how this all works. I make a page a week, so if you pledge $1, the max you will get charged in a month is $4. If I ever am able to post more often, I will send out a warning so you all know, but I do not see that happening for a while. Also, you can cap your pledge so that you never get overcharged beyond what you think you are capable of. Thanks in advance!
