We'll answer your questions! Well, not quite..one of our characters will answer your questions. If we reach this goal, we'll open up our emails for any questions that might be bugging you. Within the first week of the next month, we'll pick one of the questions and replace one of our usual comic updates with a little comic of one of our characters (our choice, but we do take suggestions) answering the chosen question. The questions will be open to everyone, you don't need to be a supporter to ask...though we still need to actually reach this goal.

Open Invite Google Hangout

A chance to chat with the creators, Ben and Elaine. If we reach this goal we'll create an open invite google hangout. Mostly, this will be a chance to look at the earliest stages of our comic creation process, which involves a lot of bantering back and forth with each other about various topics. But now you two can join in on these normally private conversations! We promise to be appropriately entertaining.

Open Invite Drawing Livestream

Watch Elaine draw! If we reach this goal, we'll open up a live stream the next month so everyone can watch Elaine a comic page (or part of a comic page at any rate). We can't make this a request stream (sadly), but it will still be fascinating watching your favorite comics being created.

Reaching this goal in a month means Elaine and I can afford to create more Dubious Company! Now that the main plot is over (or about to be over) we'll primarily be writing short stories in the universe, but only if we can hit 600 dollars a month.

Who Are You Guys?
We’re a creative team that specializes in creating webcomics. We’ve been working together and producing webcomics for nearly ten years. Ten years! It’s been a long and twisted journey, but stupidly fun, and I don’t think either of us regrets it.

What Webcomics?
Currently, the two comics we’re working on are Dubious Company and Licensed Heroes. Both of which update twice a week (for roughly 16 pages of new comics a month). Although, we’re always looking at starting new projects (or closing off old ones when the story is finished) so check back here for updates on what we’re working on!

Dubious Company
Dubious Company is our longest running comic and it follows the rousing tale of an incompetent air-pirate and his best friend, an alcoholic cat-girl ninja. Its a story filled with adventure, excitement, romance, and the type of comedy that only the truly absurd can obtain.

Licensed Heroes
Semi-autobiographical, this comic follows Tempest, a young man who’s just finished schooling and gotten his Adventurer’s License, allowing him to legally take on quests. Education in hand he steps out into the world...and immediately becomes unemployed. It’s a gooey, creamy, comical, slice-of-life series of short tales, all wrapped up in a, crispy, crunch, High Fantasy shell.

So What’s This Page About?
Patreon is a new service that allows fans (like you) to lend their support to creators (like us). Through Patreon you can contribute as much (or as little) as you’d like to us each month, and in turn we will use your contributions to help cover our overhead so we can continue producing the comics you know and love. Hopefully, with luck, we might even be able to produce even more comics each month! We’re offering neat incentives for you hardcore fans that want to contribute more per month, and if all you wonderful fans collectively contribute enough each month, we’ll do extra fun things that the whole community benefits from!

Wait, So Your Comics are Pay to View Now?
Nope! No! Absolutely not! Our comics are free at their respective sites and will remain that way for as long as we can keep them that way. We understand that sometimes money’s tight (just read Licensed Heroes if you don’t believe me) and we’d never want to deny our fans their monthly comics. But if you do find yourself with a little extra income during the month, try to remember all the laughs your favorite comic creative team gave you.

Flash Fiction + Art!

Ben writes and Elaine draws, naturally we create comics together. But we can also do other things. Pulling the idea from the Japanese "light novels" we've decided to see how well we work creating illustrated short stories (or flash fiction in this case). 75.00 patrons will get to see a month flash fiction (around 2000 words) and it's accompanying illustration. Who knows, this may become an entire new project for us, and you'll get to be there for the start of it!
