About Be the Verse
BE THE VERSE is a multimedia storytelling project by Rad and Juliet. Rad draws, Juliet writes, and they have collaborators who write, draw, brainstorm, and occasionally scream at them. (It's very encouraging.) Their current webcomic is "The Knights of Ren," which will consist of 6 chapters in full color.
We have numerous stories to tell, and the level of your support for this one will help determine how we proceed!
Since this is an entirely nonprofit and digital project, our overhead is low, but we do have some expenses. Currently Rad is paying to host the site, which is about $100 a year, and she also pays $30/mo for her illustration and design software. Our first goal is to be able to cover those expenses. Other goals to work toward include upgrading our site and blog themes and setting a budget for honoraria for our collaborators!
