Super hero

$1
per month

I know how hard it is to justify monthly donations, so if you're the kind of person willing to even pledge any amount at all, that makes you a super hero in my book.

Your patronage will help fund all the work that goes into the book, both in terms of content, and in terms the tech stack required to turn raw content into a useful website.

Generous Samaritan

Some people don't mind spending the price of a cup of coffee or two on a monthly patronage, and those people are amazing in their own right.

The professional

Sometimes you just need a resource for a while and you've been around long enough to know that if it makes your work easier, it's okay to throw some money back into a project.

About Pomax

Hi, I'm Pomax! I make stuff on the web, but the most prominent thing by far I ever made is my Primer on Bézier Curves which is all about teaching you what Bézier Curves are, and how to work with them as a programmer. Sure, that's not the most encompassing of all topics, but it's something that almost anyone doing graphics programming runs into (sometimes, really quickly!) and so offering a primer on the subject feels like a thing worth doing =)

I've been working on the Primer as a side project since 2011, with a steady pace of expansion and improvement over those years. Your patronage helps me improve not just the content by researching and writing new sections, and improving existing sections, but also helps me improve the primer "as a website", improving the code, making sensible tech stack choices, and setting up functionality that everyone gets to enjoy when they visit https://pomax.github.io/bezierinfo

I hope to be maintaining this book as an open source project for many years to come, and of course if you have any questions or comments, feel free to hit up https://github.com/pomax/BezierInfo-2/issues at any time to engage with me about improvements or changes.

It may be my book, but it's written for you!
