In a slimy sewer, you pass a wooden crate and smile; fondly remembering your first adventures and the thrill of finding a few coins or a pair of gauntlets in crates just like it. In this one, you discover a Basic Skin Pack.
This is a recurring reward. Skin packs are awarded to you before becoming available for purchase.
While fishing, you spot something between the reeds. A backpack! The straps have come loose and the leather is caked with dirt. Nestled inside, you find a Premium Skin Pack.
This is a recurring reward and also includes the previous tier's reward. Skin packs are awarded to you before becoming available for purchase.
The ocean might be a cruel mistress but she can also reward those who fear and respect her. Hidden in a murky reef, you find a small yet sturdy chest. Inside, a tiny companion wiggles and wriggles.
This is a recurring reward and also includes previous tiers' rewards. Pets are awarded to you before becoming available for purchase.
About Big Bad Waffle
In simple terms, Isleward is a unique MMO roguelike with pixel graphics. What makes it so unique is that it's fully moddable and 100% open-source.
WHO AM I?
I'm a 30-something guy from South-Africa, who's been fortunate enough to work on his dream project since early 2016 with the support of a very loyal fanbase. Besides gamedev, I'm also into writing and music (both performing and recording).
I would love to be able to work on Isleward full-time, but with a family to support, that simply isn't possible at the moment. Patreon allows me to reward loyal fans in a very structured way and also gives me the opportunity to give some visibility with regards to my goal to become completely independent. While this goal may still be fairly far off, in the meantime support goes a long way towards keeping servers up and running!
THANKS FOR READING!
Isleward is still very much in its alpha stages and I'm truly excited to see it grow. So far, support has been wonderful (both monetary and otherwise) and I'm truly thankful for everything the community has done for me and this project.
If you're considering donating, know that I very much appreciate every contribution.
Once we reach this point, I'll add dedicated EU and US servers. Who doesn't want lower pings? We can also get a dedicated server for data, taking more load off the game servers as well as being more secure.
This goal covers:
- Website hosting
- 4x CPU, 8GB memory server for EU
- 4x CPU, 8GB memory server for US
- 2x CPU, 4GB memory server for data
- CDN with edge nodes
- Additional server security
