About

Waterstones bookseller with a big beard, many books, and a cat.

Blogs about books under many guises, supporting publishers, bookshops, and readers.

www.bigbeardedbookseller.com is mainly for reviews of books, films, and music. There will also be a bit of traditional blogging on this site as well, thought pieces and such.

I run both www.bigbeardedbookseller.com and www.bigbeardedbookseller.com to support and promote independent bookshops and publishers.

These are both at heart directories of bookshops and publishers respectively, but there are also event lists and Indie Publishers goal is to celebrate IndiePressDay on March 21st every year.

I also run the website and social media for www.bookbuddy.org.uk where we try to link people with spare, good quality children's book to schools who are in desperate need of books for their classrooms and libraries.
Goals
£0 of £500 per month
When I reach £500 per month I can stop one of the jobs I'm currently working at to spend more time working on the projects and developing resources.

The ultimate goal is to make time and get finances available to open my own independent bookshop.

I will also be able to get time to develop a podcasts and a YouTube channel for the projects.
